Juana Azurduy was an indigenous woman-mother-warrior who fought for a better country and for Bolivia´s independence. On horseback, sword and pistol in hand, this brave and gentle woman confronted each battle challenging life itself. This performance includes a series of four performances created by Cláudia Gaiolas based on the collection of books Antiprincesas, published by Tinta da China and by EGEAC, about women who made an impact on history.
